Default Will one 12" sub be enough?

I'm thinkin of getting one 12" Polk Momo sub and then a decent amp. Will this be enough or should I get two 10" subs. I want to be able to feel it.

Thats kinda a vague question. Everyone has a different opinion on what loud is. I think my 1 ten can get loud but another guy sat in my car and he says theres almost no bass. Its all subjective and hard to tell. It may be or it may not be depending on you tastes.

You make absolutely no sense....

Anyway, 1 12" sub would be fine and you can feel the bass. I'm doing alright with my single 12" IDMAX sub.

There are so many variables that it's hard to give a straight answer.

It's going to depend on the type of enclosure, amount of power running, type of car, etc etc etc.

For me, one 12" is enough.

Yeah, carrwash13, 1 12" sub with a good amp should be enough. My bro has an Accord like you (albeit a coupe) running 1 12 and a nice amp... He's quite pleased! And, it can get louder!

I would think it would be enough, im running one rockford 12 and a 300 watt amp and it gets loud enough if a cop asked me to turn it down before..lol

Thats a tough question, but in my opinion I'd go for 2 10's you'd have a tighter sound cause they don't have as much travel as a 12. If you got 2 10's hooked to a decent amp you'd still have plenty of trunk space and good sound. I used to have 2 10's in my little gmc s15 and it was actually too much at times you'd be deaf from moving so much air; it was fun!
