Default System setups....

I'm lookin to buy either 2 10's or 2 12's to go in the trunk of my accord and i was wondering what you people think an ideal amp, and sub combination would be. I am running on a 300 - 400 $$$ budget on amp, subs, and box and i'd like to have at least 500 total watts. Thanks

raise your budget, spend at least $800 bucks, my system costed about $600 and look at all the trouble it's giving me...i've had to buy a new amp, new box, new subs all because i wanted to save a little money...turns out i just ended up spending more money:madfawk:

southerners are hilarious...its cost

but id think for 5-6 you could do something decent. for 350 or so you could have adecent quality 200w amp driving a 10" dont chince out if you need to go with a pair of subs. ive decided i no longer need a pair, and i think im getting hella better sound quality out of 1

$400 will be enough for a decent amp...and maybe some speaker wire. Unfortunately you'll need to spend more than what you're budgeting for to get a decent setup.

You need to spend a little bit more. I can sell you my 2 10" Punch Power DVC's in a Q Logic box that I have for $250 plus shipping. I had it in my 01 Accord 4dr but I switched to 2 10" JL W6 with custom made box that use the spare tire well. As far as an amps goes, if you want something that will rock your world go for either Punch amps or Pheonix Golds.
