In NYC alarms won't do much b/c nobody really pays attention to them so for me a 2 way system. Any economical suggestions

that's what the RS3 does..it has a range of almost 1/4 of a mile in clear view. i used to love playing around with them when i installed them. alarms make a difference!!! if a person really wants the car, he or she can tow it if they wanted to. a PROPERLY installed alarm will do its job, which is to delay car thieves from taking the car and to inform others of intrusion.

RS3 at best buy go for around 450-500installed if its an auto. i'd say buy a backup battery and an extra siren.

if calling to confirm prices, ask:
1.)do you tape or twist the wires (tape = :goodjob: )
2.) how long is it going to take
3.) how many have you installed
4.) where are you goign to hide the brain
5.) how do you mount the brain
6.) do you use t-tap, butt connectors, or solder (solder = good)
7.) ask if you can check out some of his or other installers work
8.) what's included

another thing you can add is an ignition kill switch independent of the alarm, which any retail store WILL NOT install cause it's illegal.

btw, WILL, IM me or call me if you have questions..i'm always willing to help

So if the pager goes off what are you planning to do? Go running out there and try to stop them or call the poilce ? I jsut kinda wondering cause if I would be scared to try to stop someone who is breaking into my car. Nothing is worth getting shot over.

most people trying to steal cars arent out there to murder someone...but there is always that small chance. most likely they will run when someone comes running out with a bat.

Or if you are packing that day. I don't know how other places are, but in michigan basically anyone 21 can pack heat, if they get the liscense (very minor test and training).

i got the dei viper 790xv. two way responding alarm with remote start on my stick shift.

bascially the clifford rs3 is the twin of the viper 790, dei bought out clifford.

i work at cc and my friend is the assistant manager and installer, all wires soldered, brain up in the cut, all wires to manipulated to look like stock wires, long wires r braided.

gonna add soon a back up battery, proximity sensors, interior siren, kill switches, and more secret stuff. true, if a thief wants ur car bad enough, they will get it, but im tryin to make it a very time consuming ordeal so he can just quit and move on.
