Default viper 300esp

i just gat a viper 300 out of the junkyard (for free) and I'm not sure about a couple of things.
1. is there anyway that I can test to see if it works before I take it in to get it hooked up to see if it works

2 how do I program the the remote to the alarm.

It has the wiring instructions on the back but im not sure how to hook it up can anyone help me? I have a 93 civic dx.

If you're unsure...take it to your local DEI dealer and have them test the unit, program remotes and install it.

Take it back to the junkyard and beg them to take it back. That alarm will protect ur car about as good as a 2 month old poodle. I had that alarm on my ef sedan that got jacked in like 30 seconds(no bs). I will never own another Viper alarm as long as I live. It's all about Clifford:thumbup:

Free is good!!!

Besides, if you feel that the Viper alarm will not give you enough protection just as it is, you can add on other modules to "beef it up".
