What Are Benefits of Dual Voice Coil Subs???

Then basically you have 3-8ohm subwoofers.

Can you please explain what you mean by "subs in parallel"??

What ever happened to the series connection mentioned earlier in the post??
According to this image,.. there is a pos to neg connection on a set of terminals. The confusing part for me is,.. which terminal???
It looks like one set of terminals is used for two things.
If someone could clear this up for me I'll stop posting the same question.

If it's a DVC woofer, it has two sets of terminals....just like in the picture that you have posted. Each coil has a + and - terminal. It doesn't matter which one you use, as they are identical. Generally, the terminals for each are on either sides of the woofer.
So, that means that you have a total of 4 terminals on each woofer ( 2 positive, 2 negative) For the neg to pos connection that is shown in the picture, take a wire and connect the positive to the negative (you will only need one strand of wire to do so)
Before you guys said to hook them up in series,Thats what was throwing me off.
So the pos to neg connection is only to"even out the ohms" so the amp wont work as hard, right??

What was meant was to wire each sub in series (meaning take the two coils and wire them in series). Then what you have created is a situation where there are only one set of terminals left per sub (a positive and a negative) - wire those terminals in parallel (all the positives together and the negatives together.
