So, Phat8186, the reason I am saying that JBL amp is better is not because it's a mono amp, it's because I have one in my car, the BP300.1 and I know for a fact that these amps are worth the money and can push some subs very nicely. They are probably the best bang for the buck, I mean, 600 watts rms for $175, and it's a quality product, you'd be hard pressed to beat that.

that amp does fine at 1OHM. it wont increase the output but it will do 1OHM all day long.
i had my pair of 12w3 pounding from oakland to sac and coming back. the amp was hot as hell, but did it fine. i really liked that amp
