I have a audiovox prestige aps995 2way pager alarm installed in my 6gen ex with window rollup and rolldown. My 2way pager is broken a new one cost 80 bucks so here is my dilemma.. the new version of my alarm is going for 139.00 on eBay so could i just spend the extra cash for this alarm and swap the brain from my aps995 with the new aps996 and use the 2 new remote Transmitters to operate all of my existing features and relays (ie : remote start, windows up & down, trunk pop)

so is this simple swap of brains possible while retaining my existing features without having the alarm pulled out and reinstalled again.
my reason for asking is i think i can change the brain myself but i cant redo the alarm without taking it to a shop and ive already given the damn shop like 500...... any and all help would be greatly appreciated
