Default Tweeter suggestions?

I'm adding some tweeters to my system and have a few options...does anyone have thoughts on the following?

Panasonic EAB-ST12 = $60
Kicker R13 = $70
Memphis Audio (not sure of model number) = $80
JL Audio VR075CT = $90

I know that they are all at different price ranges, but does anyone have anyt thoughts or experience with any of the products above?

I know Kicker and JL make great subs, but are their tweeters any good? And the guy at one of the shops said the Panasonic tweeters were pretty good, but I've never heard a Panasonic speaker or tweeter before. I've also never heard a Memphis in person before.

Thats a tuogh call...they are all GOOD companies...I would PROBABLY pick the JL's out of the group as they are PROVEN winners BUT the only way to decide is to go and LISTEN to them first..they will sound different once they are in the car..sooo..try to get some listening time if i were you.

The Kicker and JL's are the best out of your choices...

I can't believe you'd compare Panasonic and Memphis to JL...I'm gonna be sick. JL is the best in the list, Kicker second, Panasonic, and memphis pulling up the rear (where the **** comes out).

I wasn't comaring, I was just telling you what was available at my local shops in my price range. Remember, i was asking for advice on all the tweeters above, not asking is a panasonic was as good as a jl or anything.

Thanks for the advice, I think i'm gunna get the JL's

no one locally carries infinity tweeters unfortunately. Circuit City has the Polk EX3 tweeters, but they're $100, and I didn't want to quite spend that much. I also miss the Polk dx line. I have some Polk dx9 in the back (and I know first hand that those are great tweeters on there), but I'm not as much of a fan of the EX3 series. I want the dx back!

I just got the JL's tonight, going to install them in a couple days.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions

Do you have a way of equalizing them and level matching them to your main speakers? Im just wondering cause it might sound wierd with two differnt kinds of tweeters. Polk tweeters were ok. They aren't as harsh as some others. i had ex series 2 they were ok nothing great could have gotten something better for the money.

if it does sound weird, I'll just clip the wires going to the tweeter on the boston coaxial.

What exactly are you looking for with an extra set of tweeters?
