damn man, I don't have the stuff to make the spacer oh well, I guess the shopping continues

It shouldn't be that big of a deal. Talk to some shops and see what they say about it. They might even be able to rig something up for you.

Shop wants $100 to do this and mount the tweeter in the sail panel:madfawk: What the hell? I can do this myself, fawk them. Im not getting the type r's afterall, I found some Rainbow SLX265.02 6.5" components for $99:thumbup:

The Alpine components are one of the best I've ever heard. High's are crisp and clear... mid's are simply strong and the low is also deep as well. The bass is good even with the sub's off.
I had to custom mount them into my front doors as well.
