Default rockford 800.2

i have the opportunit to pick up a rockford 800.2 amp from a friend of mine for 130 bucks. the amp is a year old and in perfect working condition as far as i know. should i do this??

go for it... that amp is a beast... keep in mind you'll need a 4 gauge power and ground for it. Is that the semi-oval shaped one? or more of a trapezoid (with the end caps)?

i have 4 gauge wiring already but i cant decide what i wanna do as far as subs go. i have an integra hatch and i work at best buy so im looking at either one or two he2 12's but i also have a discount at ultimate electronics, so maybe just one hx2 12. suggestions??
i want nice sounding bass but i wanna be able to shake the ground sometimes

its more oval w/ the endcaps

Man the 800.2 IS a beast. That thing delivers. I have the 800a2 and it is awesome.

Great sounding bass, shake the ground sometimes:

I'd have to say 2 HE2's sealed or 1 HX2 ported. I had 2 HX2's sealed and I definitely got both, but I have no experience with the HE2's.

If you want great sound, you should look at sealed boxes. The Rockford 12s perform great in 1.25 cuft sealed boxes.

That amp is a beast. I may be picking one up from a friend and it delivers power like there's no tomorrow.

$130 is a steal for this amp. I had it for a while before I replaced it with my PPI 600.2

He has two. One is being used in his 2002 Ranger Edge, the other one is going to be used in my Accord.
