Default What do yall think?

Currently I have one JL Audio 12w3v2 in an HOBP box and I was going to keep the sub and buy two Alpine Type R Dual 4 ohm 12's to go with it and put em in a custom box. Do yall think that would hit pretty good? And I have one 1000 watt peak amp, think I should go ahead and buy another amp to go with it? Tell me all opinions, thanks! Also, if ya think its not a good setup or have suggestions, all welcome!

Are you saying you are going to keep the one jl and have to alpines? IMO that wouldnt be very nice when ppl look at your system...I have Diamond Subs and they POUND best speaker you can get....you could get some eclipses, those hit pretty good...
