Yeah...my bro has the JL 1000/1 powering (3) 10w3s but the Eclipse will be able to push a bit more...right??? Much higher S/N ratio as well. Any and all advice is welcome.

 

LOL!!! No way in hell could any eclipse amp touch a JL amp...the JL 1000 is the best amp for subs under 1g...but it depends on your subs/box as to whether or not that amp will work. So what's your budget? If you can find an older Alpine MRV1507 in good condition, that'd be a great amp as well! It only retailed $700 so it can't be TO expensive used...

if your just getting one sub and your getting the w6v2 i highly reccomend that you look at the w7 instead. the specs on the w7 are much better and the cost difference between the two is minimal. although the new w6s are nice.. the w7 still should out power and flat out "out sound" them.

but then again, i dont like JL at all.

 

but if your going with a JL sub then try to get the JL amp as well. your gonna be shellin out all that cash for the sub, you should have enough to throw around on the amp
