Default Head unit install

I tried a search but didnt come up with anything helpful, My car now has a old Kenwood deck with cd changer in the trunk from the previous owner. I want to install my Alpine CD with my Sony graphic EQ under it where the pocket goes. The problem I saw is the factory bracket is no longer in the car and the pocket has a screw in each side holding it in and the Kenwood just sitting on top with a faceplate preventing it from falling in the space. My Alpine does not have the sleeve for it any longer because in my other vehicle it just screwed in the sides. What do I need to do to make my head unit and EQ fit in this car. Will the kit help me at all?

maybe this will help.

You should be able to mount the alpine with screws again... through the sides of the kit. Just make sure they are not too long, as it will damage the internals of the deck.

also, if you're missing anything ... you could always go to the dealer and order it.
