Default Bad Deal L-7?

My friend is selling his set of 12" L-7's for $150 a piece. He bought them brand new last year and had everything cleanly installed with alot of power. Is that a good deal for one of them or should I just get 2 10" infiniti's or somethin?

given the power the L7s rock....can your wallet and car afford to power them?

wallet meaning buying the amps for it...car meaning will the civic handle the juice from the amps.

my integras small alternator stopped me from getting an IDMAX, so i settled for a IDQ. no complaints really.

I just want one so "them" isn't an issue and one amp should shove the L-7 pretty good. However, even with one, I know I'm gonna have to beef up the alternator. I like Alpine amps...that's what my friend was using on them in the first place and it sounded great. So whatcha think....good deal or no?

No box. Just the sub. I can probably get both of them for $225 if I wave the cash at this kid. He spends money like water and has tons to spare.

If you can get both for $225, then do it and sel the other on ebay. $150 for one without a box is decent.... As for an amp, I'd look into a class d to power it instead of an Alpine amp. the class d amp will drain less juice from your battery...

the battery only powers the system when the car is off or the alt can't power it. but yea class d is better on the electrical system. you should be able to use 1 probably 2 class d 1200 watt amps
