Default metallic tint and proxy sensor

any of you has metallic tint on ur windows and dual zone proxy sensor? did the tint ever intefere the sensor? thanx

i have a prox sensor. i just got it like a year ago after i took off my tint. if you have metallic tint the prox wont work past the tint. so technically it would only work if your windows are down and through the front windshield.

np...make sure the black doesnt have metal in it either. i had black tint but it had metal in the tint. didnt even look metallic but it messed with the prox.

do what i did. just have no tint. and i live in tx

im way retarded....
whats proxy?

im going to get my windows tinted this week and i just wanted to know if i would have anything affected.
(i know this is like the most retarded question...)

the full name is called proximity sensor which is the radar sensor for car alarm. It detects motions around your car
