Default Viper 791xv

HI, I have the VIPER 791XV alarm on my car. Everything was working fine until today. I cant seem to get it to arm and/or disarm. The remote will beep but the alarm will not chirp. I checked for fuses and found 2 under the steering colomn and those are fine. Is there anything else i can do to see what the problem is? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Its can be 1 of 3 things. your remote is broken, the antenna for the alarm is defective/disconnected,which is normally mounted on the upper windshield. or the brain itself is not getting power/ and or broken. if you suspect the alarm/ and or remote, it has a 99yr/lifetime warranty through DEI www.directed.com. if you send it in, they will replace it free of cost.

does the car still lock/unlock if it does, sound like maybe the siren blew out that was hooked up to it.

warrenty only applies if you had a DEI dealer install it FYI. troubleshoot it. disconnect power to the unit for 10 min with the antenna disconnected. after 10 min, plug it back in and wiat 2 mins. during the 2 min, remove the battery from your pager remote. inset battery and push lock. if that works it just needed a reset. if no go, th eunit is defective.
