Default grounding my stock radio

i'm having electrical problems so i need to ground my radio to stop the interferance. so does anyone know the best way to do this. i have two ideas, either ground it right behind the radio or trace the wire back to the fuse box (i think) and ground it there. so does anyone know which wire it is and also a good plce to ground it.

You can try any metal piece by the back of the deck. One of them will ground it fine.

it should be the only black wire comming from the deck... possibly with a white or grey stripe on it...

Just ground it to the dash board frame behind the radio... there should be some other things grounded back there, just use one of those bolts.

Where is the the interference coming from?On my last car when I up graded the coil and wires it got really bad cuz the resistor wasn't strong enough to filter the current. If you have messed with it,that could be it.If not the black wire is it as above ground it to any piece of metal but make sure it is connected to the chassis some way cuz some brackets aren't or use plastic clips.

a ground wire wont necessarily cancel out any interference that your radio may have. that interference could be radiation and not a ground loop. which means that pretty much no matter what you do (short of placing your radio inside a copper box) will you be able to get rid of the noise. but trying new ground locations is a good start if it is fixable. oh, i'm not trying to sound like an ass, but resistors dont actually filter current.
