Default amp wire gauging...

I just ordered some stuff from elemental designs for the bimmer

the amp is 600rms.....the battery is in the trunk so the power wire won't be no more than say 2ft......is it ok to go with the rockford 8 gauge or should I just go with the 4?

thanks

Default

600wrms, but 1200w MAX. I know its not much distance, but to get full potnetial of your amp, go with the 4 gauge.
