Is this worth it?
A used Soundstream Reference 404(or something like that) it's like 75x4 @4 ohms rms. $180, is that a good price for this amp?
It has been refurbished by a close friend who has ties to Soundstream and does this kind of work for a living.

Those amps are/were really good (if they survive). Their power supplies had a nasty habit of dying. They are really loosly regulated, so the more power you give them, the more power they make. I've always liked the old reference designs. Let me know if you need a perfect condition Ref 500. I have one around that I wouldn't mind getting rid of.
