Default weird beeps?

Sometimes my car would just beep, it does it at any time it feels like, it is usually either 6 short beeps or one long one. Any ideas what this could be?

maybe u got a bird trapped in ur car :dunno: but yea...where's the noise exactly coming from? spkrs? and when i say spkrs, i mean the ones either on ur door or rear panel. Not the one where it makes noise when you leave ur lights on.

hmm...that's pretty odd. It has nothing to do with car audio so i wouldn't really know about it. All i can suggest that that yea it comes on when like ur doors are open right? So my guess is that most likely the switch that keeps that beeping noise from beeping malfunctions. Don't really know how to replace it or to even check if it's that.

What kind of car you got? Because if it is nothing than just a screwed up switch, you could disconnect it so that it'll NEVER make a noise again! or unless u reconnect it.

it's a 95 civic DX. If it is some switch I dont care, the noise doesnt occur that often... As long as it is not beeping to let me know something is wrong with the engine/electric system.

well if you say that the sound is coming from the exact spkr that's responsible for leaving the door open, the no it's not a prob. cuz that's it's sole purpose.
