Which head unit should i get?
Right now I have a clarion 9675rz head unit (which will be on sale) and I love the sound quality, but want to be able to play MP3's
so here are the choices.
Kenwood Excelon KDC-X959
pro's mp3 , cheap, 4.5 volts pre out Cons: no time delay, crappy 1bit DAC
Pioneer Premiew DEH-P940MP
Pro's: mp3, time delay, 6 volts pre outs, cool screen
Con's: once again ****ty 1bit DAC
Pioneer Premier DEX-P9
Pro's 24 bit DAC, time delay
con's $$$,
anyone have any suggestions?

My personal opinion would be to go with the second one,only because of appearance though. I haven't played with either of them so I can't make a good recommendation, but that Kenwood faceplate is too busy, has too many buttons and stuff, and the last one just looks like $$$

pioneer premier is just a re-badged pioneer with a 2 year warranty and a high price tag stuck on it.

I personally like the kenwood x959, I own a kenwood now so the buttons dont bother me. But the sound quality is great, I dont know how fast it flips between mp3 tracks & folders tho didnt have a chance to check that out. But its going to be my christmas present from my gf:thumbup: I used to have the alpine cda-7894 that somebody mentioned earlier. that is a great radio 60x4 and every option you could want, but the screen is so ugly, so i sold it.:fawk:
