Default installing sub into box...

I was just wondering, does it matter if the screws that attach the sub to the box go thru the front panel to the other side, or should it stop before it reaches thru the wood? the box is about 1 1/2 inches. Will it affect the sound?

If the box is 1.5" and you used mdf, that might not be healthy for the subs! But if the skrews go through it wont do crap! If you still trip on it like me, add the length of the skrew that pokes through the wood times however many skrews you have and build a box (should be about 0.3" inches bigger! LMAO
