If the box is 1.5" and you used mdf, that might not be healthy for the subs! But if the skrews go through it wont do crap! If you still trip on it like me, add the length of the skrew that pokes through the wood times however many skrews you have and build a box (should be about 0.3" inches bigger! LMAO
