Default wiring help please!!

hey everyone, i used to be a member of this post back when i was in high school and i am joining again. i am an engineering student here at Purdue University. can someone give me some help and advice. right now i have a nice sony HU, 4 infinity 6.5" speakers, a RF 360.2 amp and a blown infinity perfect sub. i am thinking of replacing this sub w. an Alpine Type R 12" sub. my question is this, the sub is a DVC correct? how do I wire it to my amp in order to get the most amount of power from my amp to the sub? thanks alot, Raj.

Default

the RF 360.2 will give off 360 watts @ 4OHM when bridged.

there are 2 types of 12" type Rs, they both are dual VCs.

SWR-1221D are the dual 2OHM
SWR-1241D are the dual 4OHM

you want the SWR-1221D, dual 2OHM subs, if you will be running a single sub to that amp.

then from there you wire it in series to acheive a 4OHM impedance from that sub, and bridge it to that amp.

have fun.
