I have a 99 accord EX coupe and there are tweeters on the dash. I was wanting to upgrade the front stage and was wondering how these are set-up before I start ripping into my doors and dash.

what do you mean bro?

they are most likly bridged tot he door speakers to create a lower or higher ohm load.

if thats what you mean.

if u have tweets already and decide to replace them to higher powered ones. then just replace them, no need to change anything. If you are ADDING then u need to wire them so they dont excede lower than 3.8 ohms or ur gonna fry out ur deck.

there are already tweeters there, so all i have to do is replace them. do i need to add an aftermarket crossover?

3.8ohms? thats a lie my BBY infinity speakers are 2.65 right out of the box.

if you take a 4 ohm speaker and put 18awg wire to it 15 feet long and measure the resistance at the end of the speaker wire the ohms will exceed 4...it will be more like 5ohms
