Default Viper 550 esp

Hey i have the viper 550 esp with remote start and i wanted to make the volume of the alarm greater. Does anyone know how to do this??? I heard that it can eb adjusted.

Are you asking about the overall siren volume or just the chirp??? I'm not sure if you can adjust the siren volume any louder than what it's at (like 130db's o so...), but if you want the chirp to be louder, all you have to do is cut the black wire that comes out of the siren that isn't connected to anything.

yeah if you cut the wire from the siren it makes the chirp and the actual buzz louder. on mine it did at least. you can always buy a different siren too.

the only problems with more sirens is they might be off in sound. might not be exact so it might sound like an echo could always put one in the trunk and one in the engine bay. surround sound baby!

The other thing to do is make sure the siren is pointing towards the ground (and that is has a relatively clear shot.)

Don't forget a time correction processor so they all sound in sync.

take it to a dealer and they change this little option with a bit writer and you'll gain 6dB.
