I have the 600ESP which is the same thing less remote start. It's a good product as long as it's installed well. Nothing spectacular though, it just does everything as it's supposed to. You really can't go wrong with DEI but make sure the installation is good (that goes for any alarm.)

BTW, you cannot change the full trigger volume, only the chirps. If you want it to louder add another siren and/or make sure the one you have is facing the ground.

its a nice alarm. You can upgrade it with the Voice alert "Protected by viper, stand back" upgrade a window roll up module, and all other sorts of stuff. SO its a very good upgradable product.

Which wire do i cut!! the one attached to srien?? wouldn't that cut off the power to the siren??!! is there any way u can explain it in detail coz im not familiar with technical terms and wiring?

Do what i did.. i went to radio shack and bought these little sirens(black square things) for 15-20 bucks each.. wired it into the current siren, and bam.. my car makes a loud annoying sound.. when it goes off im told it sounds like a bird chirping.

Viper is the best if you want it louder just add air horns

The wire thats a loop comes from the siren and goes back in the same spot. just snip it. id leave a lil room just in case later you want ot make it quieter again
