Default Where to mount brain/sensor

I have a viper 3000 car alarm system installed in my '99 Acura Integra. I was told this alarm system has the shock sensor built in to the brain. So my question is, where do i mount the brain in order to get the best shock sensitivity. I feel that i could get better sensitivity if it is mounted in the right place.
Thanks

Steering column? I am not sure where shock sensors are mounted now-a-days.

Right. I dont think its possible for you to mount something that big on there effectively without some real fabrication.

zip-tie to the largest bundle of wires under the dash or anywhere in the vehicle, perferably not directly seen (that would defeat the purpose of security). remember not to mount it too far from the underdash of the drivers side, which is where most of your inputs/outputs from the brain will be connected!

oh and try to hide the starter-kill relay away from the steering column.

You'll get a very sensitive alarm with it ziped to a wire harness. IIRC, the sensitivity is set with the remote, haven't messed with a 3000 for a while.

I am a mobile installer at Best Buy and when I install security systems, I mount the brain up under the drivers side dash.
