Dashboard lights won't come on after new stereo installation

theres an orange wire coming out of the harness, that is the dimmer wire. if that is exposed to any metal, in which case, its probably shorting to the metal sleeve used for the head unit. wrap the end in electrical tape, replace the fuse and problem solved
