What are you going to do when that amp clipps and blows your speaker? So now your stuck with a pos amp and a blow speaker because you did not run the amp like it was suppose to. And your service plan is only going to cover that amp so many time for the same thing. You can tell that the amp was blown because of low ohms. Tech's are not stupied.

I did not know that. So if your waranty policy states: NO LEMON POLICY , this means that it replaces it after the 3rd repair?

Yes, they do that if its really a lemon. But if they determined that you are the one behind the problem they will not keep on fixing it or will have a installer look over the problem of your install. And if he see's whats going on you will default your warrentty, I used to go thru this as a manager at circuit city. Read your policy. its right there in the print

if it pops i take it out of my car take it to the bay and have them test it...when they tell me the channel is gone i say well ok sserivece it then...they send it out i wait i get it i hook it up again...

and i have had it in there for a while now an maxed it out oncve or twice ...it stays green no protect mode and no distortion...so far so good...

Hey I know that this is a pretty old post, but i'm about to try the same thing by bridging the lx2-1000 at 2 ohm, and was just wondering how that worked out?
