i have all rockford and love it, comparing kicker to rockford: rockford will handle a lower freq
you could get a single RF p1 10 and get a 325.1, it will slightly over power the p1 but not really. later you can add on a second sub or even get 2 p2's, or even slightly underpower a single p3. this amp has a little range on setup

Rockford amps are garbage nowadays. They're selling on thier name, not on quality.

I hate that a mid-power amp from RF is $400!! And the $300 Alpine M650 puts out more power, cleaner power, and all for less money.

Well I have a set of 12 just sitting here. Not into rockford fosgate. I used to carry them. There price is really too high. I like the mtx over them. same as kicker. I get more sound out of the mtx and kicker then the fosgate at the same power level. But don't get me wrong. There power series are good thou. Just not in your budget. If you don't spend money with fosgate. you get second hand. imo.

well, rf amps are way under-rated and the prices on their website are not it anyway shape or form what i pay in the store. their amps are not all that efficient, but they displace a hell of a lot of power. the Alpine M650 is 300, and the equalivent in RF is the 600.1bd which on the website says 550, but i can go to my local stereo center radio shack where i get all my stuff and get a power 1000.1 for 550 so the 600.1 is def not that much. i paid 250+tax for my 325.1 and one the website it says 300. so i got it 50 dollars cheaper, the website says 750 for the 1000.1 and i can get it for 550 or less

I can't even find a S/N ratio for the Rockford. The Alpine lists as 90dbA.

Rockford avg. retail price-499.99
Alpine avg. retail price-299.99

I think I'll go with the Alpineh:
