Default trunk surface area

So, i'm putting some edead in my car. Does any one know how much SA a 2001 accord ex 4cyl would have in the trunk. would 60sqft be enough or would i need 120sqft? and when i put it on can i put the carpet and stuff back over top? Can I spray paint it? (so its not bright silver). FINALLY is it worth it? My trunk rattles like shit right now. Its a 2001 and in really good shape so i think it shouldn't rattle as much as it does, but would edead help enough so that it wasn't annoying at least?
Thanks.

Do a search on proper sound deadening, youll find a lot of info.

1. 60 sq ft should be enough for 1 layer for the trunk floor, sides, and trunk lid
2. Yes you can put your carpet and panels right back over it
3. Yes you can paint it
4. I say its worth it.

But like I said...so a search and properly fix the rattle by finding out what is causing it.
