03 TL-S stereo replacement?

03 TL-S stereo replacement?

I am picking up a 03 TL-S and i noticed that the stock stereo (bose) is shaped like a trapezoid, instead of a standard 1-2U.

any idea? also i'm trying to get an amp and a set of front components. what size?

Being that it's Bose, you most likely can't replace the speakers unless you plan doing it all at once or use a Bose System Interface. The Kit is an AA1574B kit from Scosche and a standard 98+ Honda Harness.

so yea i'll replace the whole system. i'm more asking along the line of the trapezoidal shaped opening.how can i get something to fill that? most decks aftermarket are rectangular.
