Default Radio will not work

When i listen to the radio after a few minutes it just stops, i hear a low static noise. I thought it could just be my wiring but when i switch it to listen to the cd player everything works fine. So i turn it back to the radio again it will work for a few seconds and it dies again. But everytime i switch it to the cd player it works.

I have a Sony Explode cd player, don't know if that matters.

Can anyone help me out on this? Or tell me what the problem is?

Don't buy Sony. They're garbage in the car audio world. Sounds like the actual FM tuner is going out. How does it perform on the AM band??

Is that normal for an FM band to go out?

Is it fixable?

It's not normal, Sony radios are renowned for starting to skip and spit CD's out after 6 months to a year. It's not worth fixing.

If it's the antenna, why woud it stop in the middle of me listening to the radio, even when i'm parked. Meaning nothing broke at the time because the car is not even moving at all.

One more thing, i have an Ex and i don't have an antenna outside the car, if that's the problem how do i fix it?

TOTALIMMORTAL, so it's not unusual and it does happen tat the FM could just go out?
