it puts pressure on the interior of the trunk causing less vibrations, I do have to note that i upgraded from 2 RF p1's to p2's and there's alot more vibration than before, eg. trunk pops up and down around the wind

this would probably not be the best idea, but would a weight somehow attached to the trunk lid help?
