YA, EVERTHING IS IN ORDER! I GOT EVERTHING I SHOULD NEED! Maybe I need to rewire the subs? I got them both set at 2ohms and my amp has a recomended load of 1.5 ohms max... So Im basicaly tryin to get 1.0 ohms out of the amp... You think that could be the problem?

why dont you wire them to a final 2OHM....dont those JL give the same power from 4, 2, 1 OHM?

just wire it series on each sub, then //.

ok i have no idea what that drawing is.

you have the 2OHM per VC version. so if take a sub and wire it series, you will have 4OHM each sub....

from there take the pair and wire them in //, that will net you 2OHM for the pair.

so series on each sub, then // to the amp.

Jl has MANY wiring diagrams on their website: www.jlaudio.com under tutorials. You should really visit that site. It will help you understand how to wire your subs.

And you should not have been running your amp at 1 ohm. That could have fried your amp.

As for your subs, double check your wiring AGAIN before powering them up again. If they still distort when you crank it up too much, then sorry, because you fried the voice coils......:nono:
