Default system question

In the del sol i have there is a fire wall between the trunk and the cab. so there is no sound that comes through. i would cut out the fire wall but i'm afraid of doing somthing bad to the rear window guides. So right now i have my 12" subs in truck boxes behind my seat and that just plain sucks because the subs don't have enough air space to sound very good or be very loud.

If any one has put a bumpen system in the trunk and got the sound to come through the firewall could you please tell me how to do it?

If you put a system in the trunk, you will hear it, i promise.

Either that, or you are not using the right boxes/subs/amp for your application

just keep the all the windows down while youre listening to the music.. if you dont hear it bumpin from the trunk, you are deaf man.. jk.. but for reals.. you will hear it in the trunk.. but they do make subs that hit real nice in tight spaces with little air..

All right i guess i'll just have to try them out in the trunk but i thought that the fire wall would cause the sound to stop before they ever got up to the passengers and i thought that sound quality would be poor.

But i'll try it any way. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to run the wires to get them through the fire wall without interupting the rear window?
