two subs in one month screwed up?

Default two subs in one month screwed up?

okayy well aboout three weeks ago my pioneer sub blew all of a sudden while driving down the road..like it just cut out and wont work anymore..soo i put in another sub i had lying around the house a 10" rockbox or something and just two days ago i was driving down the road and the same thing happens to this sub aswell now i dont know what the hells goin gon heree but im hoping some one here can tell me what it might be? sorry if im missing some important information or something just let me know what u thinkk.. well peace out for noww

How are you sure its the sub? Could it be the amp? Or the headunit?

Default bad subs...again

I know this sounds elementary, but check your RCA's ! check for tears, and/or pinches in the wire as well as at the back of the head unit and at the Amp input.this can cause a ground to the amp signal causing a nasty "DC Oscillation" simply put, your amp will burp out a nasty signal or "POP" and keep blowing subs. The head unit alone(outputs) can be shorted inside the case and cause this same problem. Start tracing
