Default Deck compatibility

Can someone with actual experience answer the following question..........are all OEM Honda radio/cd/tape players compatiable? In other words, is it possible to plug and play a Civic radio in an Accord? An Accord radio in an Odyssey? Prelude radio in a Civic? Are all the plugs on the back the same? I am guessing that they are, but want some confirmation (want to put some kind of OEM cd player in an Odyssey but want to make sure it is just a plug and play).

Thanks.

Honda has had three different plugs in it's years of making vehicles. There is an 83'-85' plug, an 86'-97' plug, and a 98'+ plug. Now I'm not sure about the brand new stuff, I know the new Odyssey's(05'+) needs an antenna adapter. There are no new Honda wiring harnesses out there besides the 98'+, so that would lead me to believe the plugs haven't changed.

So, if I understand correctly, since I want to put this into a 99 Odyssey, any Honda 98+ deck will work, correct?

I understand that anything can be made to work with a little re-wiring, but I just want to plug and play (this isn't my van, so I just want to help someone out and move along to another project. haha)

Thanks a lot.
