Sit down, and get ready to learn. Dynamat is more than a name.

Thanks for patronizing me, but you're not showing me anything I haven't already read. In fact, I re-referenced that same site before I posted. Note how I said "Dynamat Original."

Dynamat Original (not Dynamat Extreme) is hardly a good value versus the 3 options I mentioned.

Did anyone even mention Dynamt Original besides you. Nope. It's pretty common knowledge that the original version of dynamat is pretty outdated in comparison to what's on the market.

Common knowledge is relative. What is common knowledge to those familiar with car audio is not necessarily common knowledge to those that are not familiar with it. Stop taking your high-and-mighty attitude with me. People are asking questions here because they don't have the same "common knowledge" you have and they want to learn. Is this not apparent in the following?...

And in reference to no one else mentioning Dynamat Original...

Dynamat Original door packs come in 10 sq ft. Dynamat Extreme door packs come in 12 sq ft. 2 door packs with 20 sq ft only adds up to 2 Dynamat Original door packs, as Dynamat Extreme door packs would equal 24 sq ft. Do your research.

I posted a simple reply to educate the newbies. You came in here with condescending stuff like "Sit down, and get ready to learn." It's nice that you think you know car audio, but you're not the only one.

wow cool your jets there, all i'm saying is its not possible to do the whole car with two door kits. Even if you have 24sqft of dynamat extreme(rip off).

If I was a new at this and I did my doors and then did my trunk I would be pretty pissed to find out end result. Did I miss where doing the floor board was covered?

Not to mention the fact that I gave a link above to both dynamat original &extreme. U need to chill dude these were decent instructions. Would u just do your door and trunk, or would you want to do it all?

O ya (Sit down, and get ready to learn) I didn't say that?? pay attention to detail when you smoke someone that way you can stand tall.

Mishqua, my response was directed at totalimmortal, not you. I quoted you to demonstrate to him that Dynamat Original had been mentioned. He said that no one talked about Dynamat Original, but based on your response, someone had. He's also the one who said "Sit down, and get ready to learn," not you.

Thanks to you both for deciding not to continue the arguing in this thread. Its a simple misunderstanding.

Tyler88, if you still have questions about sound deadening, please start a new thread. We do have a lot of folks in here who know their stuff.
