yes i got money. my rear 6.5 speakers got jacked (160 bucks i'm canadian), my deck (650), and 2 rockford 12's (600). my insurance only covers up to 1000 deductible. so i got a idmax (500) and a dei 1100D (700) and the same alpine deck (650). so i didn't wanna fork out some more moeny for rear speakers which i don't even hear because of my front loud components.

i had alpine deck as well, CDA-7875, last year's model. then since alpine is not making it anymore, IC paid me for a newer model alpine.. 7995

why, may i ask, did you go with the 7995?? looks?? The 7894 is the EXACT same thing, with the exception of the face color and the addition of an internal amp. The amp in the 7894 can be SWITCHED OFF, making it a 7995 with a black face.

The 7995 is for serious audiophiles with a serious system. You shoulda saved a few bucks and stepped DOWN a model.
