hey guys... my cousin and i went up to cartoys to look around and so i could show him some stuff.. id never usually buy anything from that place because id rather get it cheaper from ikesound.com or ebay... but this seemed like a good deal, and considering you can take it back within 30 days, if it sucked it woudl be no skin off our backs.

BUT... 95% of the way through the process the guy hit a snag "oh ****.. that was a typo.. this isnt supposed to be $349.. i mean.. it is for you.. but youre the only one getting it at this price"

The deal was:
a dual 12 box loaded with two mtx4000 12's and a 4250d 350rms x1 mono block amp..

he didnt tell me what the price was supposed to be.. but going by their prices, the subs would be $180 for the pair and the amp would be $350. the box would be another 50-70$.

i thought.. wow we reallly screwed them but i could probably get it on ebay for cheaper.

nope, the cheapest i could find all of that on ebay for (incl shipping) was $400 (after tax our price was $379)

what do you guys think? was this a pretty good deal or not?

 

Actually thats a very fair price, but your buddies at good guys or circuit city can get it cheaper for you

 

If you live in the Seattle area, I will sell you my 2 10" punch power DVC's in Q-logic box for just $200 then go to Ebay and get a decent amp.

 

its 349.99 @ circuit city too... their ad says 'a $279 value'... but the amp is still 349.99
