Components up front and coaxials in the rear would be fine.

neither....spend that money you wanted to buy the rear components with on a sub/box combo....bridge the rear channels to the sub and have a system that sounds 10x better then eitehr of your original plan....then again that's my $0.02 - do what you wish with it!!

Now IF you HAD to have one of the original options....get the co-ax's and hook them up to the RAF output on the Diamond Passives, then bridged said Alpine amp to run the whole front setup. This will attenuate the rear speakers and help to make things sound more natural

Off the topic but how do you like the new civic si? I saw one slammed on rims. Looked ok but not quite sure what to think yet. Got any pics of the si? What kind of head unit are you thinking of getting?

sorry about the crappy spelling.

i like it. could use more power though but its not fully broken in yet (1600 miles). i dont know what HU i want. i want to custom a screen in place of the factory HU but i dont have a place to put a HU anywhere else. just thinking of what to do. i have a white one and i asked someone to chop these rims on the si for me. tell me what you think. 12 lbs for 17s. heres the link.
