Power Handling, RMS: 250 Watts

You want to feed it a nice 250-300 watts.

Thatll depend on the enclosure as well. I have a 10" in a ported box, with about 300 watts. It gets low enough for me.

I wouldnt expect a whole lot from that woofer. But then again, its all subjective

I don't mean to jack this thread, but I was wondering what sub and amp is recommended. I have a stock setup at the moment, but I wanted to add a lil' bit of bass. I do want a 10" sub. I don't need anything that will make me go deaf. Just something that adds a lil' bass that's crisp and clear.

I have a Kenwood KSC-WD250 10" in my trunk and I have been nothing but impressed with it. Dual 1.5 ohm coils wired to .75 ohms, wired remote, speaker level inputs as well as RCA's. I too didn't want to wake the neighborhood, just wanted to have some solid bass.

thats the worst sub i seen in years, cleary buy 2 you dipweiner, if you only by one, you might as well try to stick it up your ass, if i was you go with roadrage, very rare only found in selected walmart stores, its capable of putting out a 1/2 watt.

go with a higher powered amp.
400 watts.

250 watts is underpowering the sub. the sub can handle 1000 watts peak. push the amp at 250 watts, and you run out of headroom.

Phoenix Gold 400.1 should do the job.

But if you're set on the 250 watt amp, then just get an sub-in-a-box by infinity. it's a class D block amp with a 10 inch sub box. all you do is hook up the power and the line feeds. The amp is in the box.

just my 2 cents.
