go with a higher powered amp.

250 watts is underpowering the sub. the sub can handle 1000 watts peak. push the amp at 250 watts, and you run out of headroom.

Phoenix Gold 400.1 should do the job.

But if you're set on the 250 watt amp, then just get an sub-in-a-box by infinity. it's a class D block amp with a 10 inch sub box. all you do is hook up the power and the line feeds. The amp is in the box.
