Default Bazooka in Civic Sedan

Dumb question, and I apologize, but has anyone installed a powered bazooka tube in a sedan? I assume I'd put it in the trunk and remove the rear speakers so the sound could come through the grill? With the stock radio (I'd use a powered tube) would I use some passive filters to block the bass from the other speakers?

I will not sound good in your sedan. They are better in hatch backs or SUV. I my own opinion, I would not waste my time. A new cd player in interior speakers would sound a whole lot better than just adding a bass tube.

I have a powered Kenwood 10" in my 98 coupe. It sound incredible. But I definatly agree that the first step would be to have nice speakers, without that the mids and highs will be drowned out. The amp should have some sort of crossover built into it.

Try researching the Kenwood KSC-WD250. Its just the right amount of bass(IMHO) to not be overpowering but still provide solid bass. Im very pleased with it. The frequency response extends down to 28Hz which isnt bad.
