Default Radio Security Code Locator???

I was told by the service guy at an Acura dealer that you can retrieve the security code for the radio from parts in the car (i.e. the hatchback, or behind rear lights). Can someone confirm this??? Is there another way about going to get the security code? I thought the vin # helped, but it doesnt cause it is a 95...

A dealer can get it off the database if you provide them with the serial number off the radio, and the VIN.

I have never heard of the code being hidden somewhere.

There has always been members who were willing to help other members by offering to retrieve the codes for them. I dont want this to be a forum where people see it as a place to get the codes. All it takes is your VIN and Serial code, and a call to ANY Acura dealer. With that said...
