Default speaker buzz, pop

Yep, I don't know what I'm doing with speakers so please bear with me. I have just bought my third honda--accord 1996 and it has a Kenwood head unit and Kenwood 6X9s on the rear deck. When I turn it up, the passenger side speaker buzzes and pops. I don't think it's blown. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be the speaker wire?

thanks all...

Either blown, or when the cone moves, the speaker wire is grounding out. On a personal note: I HATE kenwood head units, never had a good experience with one in 12 years. So you got that goin' for ya.

Might be blown, worn out due to sun damage(common among rear deck drivers) or when the cone moves, the speaker wire is grounding out. On a personal note: I HATE kenwood head units, never had a good experience with one in 12 years. So you got that goin' for ya.

Id say the surrounds are dry rotted. Buy new speakers and try to stay away from foam surrounds.
