Default Removal of stock Accord radio

Hello,
I replaced my battery on my 98 Accord EX. My radio says code on there. I went to the dealer, and they asked if I bought it there. They said I have to contact the original dealer to get the code. I called them, and they have no records of the car because it has not been at the dealer in the past year. So I need to pull the radio out to get the serial # off it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Fairly simple. First pull the clock out. Grab the clock on both sides and pull it straight out. Then take off the harnesses, take out the screw behind the clock (if it drops, you'll never see it again), take off the two screws on the bottom, carefully pull off the covering but don't pull too hard. Then unplug the climate control harnesses, put the cover aside, and unscrew the radio off the frame.
