Automate Alarm System by DEI

Is the Auto Mate a really good alarm system.Im kind of a poor man but i heard that DEI makes really good alarms??

My dealer-installed alarm is a DEI based product. No problems with the system but the remote control range sucks compared to stock GM alarm/keyless entry systems.

my car didnt come with an alarm,das why i installed one!but i wished it had brought one!

I installed a Viper 671xv made by DEI and the range is awsome on this thing. Got it for about $120 + shipping on eBay.
